The Brief

We delivered outstanding success with this year’s Be Spooky Pop-Up Pumpkin Patch in Richmond, marking the largest pumpkin patch Be Richmond has ever hosted, welcoming over 900 visitors in just six hours.

Delivered through a fully integrated social, digital marketing and PR strategy, the campaign successfully brought the local community together, engaging schools, community groups and families, while also attracting visitors from other London boroughs and neighbouring counties. The result was a high-impact, feel-good event that positioned Be Richmond as a vibrant destination for family-friendly seasonal experiences.

The Strategy

The event was designed with Instagrammable moments at every opportunity, encouraging organic content creation and social sharing throughout the day. From colourful pumpkin displays to branded Halloween backdrops, visitors were actively encouraged to capture and share their experience online, extending the campaign’s reach well beyond Whittaker Avenue.

Local influencers were invited to attend and share their experience in real time, amplifying the event across social platforms and helping to reach new audiences through trusted, authentic voices. This influencer activity supported strong awareness beyond Richmond and reinforced the event’s appeal as a must-visit seasonal moment.

The Results

Key activity highlights included pumpkin carving workshops and face painting, which proved hugely popular with families and helped maintain strong footfall across all time slots.
