Hi, I'm Tom. I'm a Creative Designer here at Destination. Working here is awesome. The day-to-day briefs always offer new creative challenges, the working environment is positive & upbeat and I work with great people. I'm constantly learning new things, pushing myself technically & creatively and no day ever feels the same. I also love living in the South West. In my spare time I surf, DJ, go to festivals, mountain board, and am constantly escaping to the countryside in my VW camper van.

After joining Destination over two and a half years ago, I’ve been able to develop and learn a whole host of new skills across social media and marketing and now, as Account Executive, I get to share these skills with the rest of the team as we look to deliver fun and interesting social media campaigns across a wide variety of channels. Social media plays such a big part in the way we, as brands and people, communicate and it’s always changing, so it’s never boring.

Destination is made up of fun and friendly people and working with such an array of talent has allowed me to branch out into other areas of marketing and I’m learning so much. It’s not all work and no play either, we’re prone to the odd, mildly competitive bake off and my favourite part of the day is still when Lexi, the office dog, bounds in all excited each morning.

Digital Account Manager

Having joined the team back in 2012 as an apprentice, I have worked my way through the ranks to become a Digital Account Manager. I Head up the digital marketing and am experienced in creating innovative & original campaigns across all of the major advertising platforms including Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Bing Ads and of course, Google AdWords, supported by my Certified Google Partner status. Working closely with both our clients and our Account Management team, I’m at the forefront of our bespoke digital reporting, backed with my Google Analytics expertise.

In my spare time, I am what can only be described a Petrolhead - you’ll more than likely find me tinkering with or racing motorcycles on tracks all around the UK where precision and attention to detail is essential. I’m also a keen photographer, embracing my creative flair.

As a Brand Ambassador, I am the face of the business - the "boots on the ground". Maintaining relationships between Destination and our clients that are not only professional but also genuine and strong through regular interaction on a personal level is an empowering responsibility. I play in a band and own a DSLR camera so it’s possible I could be described as creative – the chance to engage that creativity when collecting content for our social media team makes the role challenging but more importantly, rewarding.
