Destination has worked as a full-service agency with Elmsleigh for a number of years, effectively supporting their in-house marketing and management team. As part of these services, we look to develop fresh, eye-catching marketing materials for their in-centre events, which allow the brand to constantly evolve and entice visitors/shoppers to participate.
Our creative brief for events at Elmsleigh spans both traditional and digital promotion; for display in-centre, via their website and on social media channels, plus for local mixed media advertising. As well as building upon the brand and ensuring its ongoing recognition, we seek to bring the events to life and promote them as fun for all the family, with bright, simple graphics and clear calls to action.
During 2019, traffic to the Elmsleigh website and engagement on their social media channels showed peaks at times of in-centre events, for example, a 17% increase in website sessions year-on-year in the month of their Easter Fun workshops, plus consistently top performing posts on social media for the ‘Elmsleigh and the World of Wizards’ event promotion in October. Footfall also increased year-on-year during the event activity periods.
