Castle Quay Shopping Centre was keen to shift its focus towards one of its key audiences, families, and as such wanted to provide a programme of events to attract more families and footfall in centre.
Destination launched a series of regular, themed, in-centre entertainment to coincide with the school holidays with weekly entertainment, workshops, character visits and face painting.
Destination has run these events since Summer 2015, with events for Easter, Summer, Halloween and Christmas, including a Santa’s grotto. All supported with external advertising, competitions, PR and digital promotions.
Following each event, Destination provides a campaign report outlining footfall, PR coverage, social media coverage and support and any additional promotion.
During October 2016, our kids workshops and face painting attracted in excess of 350-400 people each day.
